The SG Shock 2, which has been loved by many machines, has evolved into the “3” through further improvements. The overall length has been shortened by 2mm through a review of the design. While ensuring sufficient stroke, the overall length has been reviewed to increase installation freedom and expand the adjustment range of vehicle height, bottom, and rebound.
When length is required, there is ample adjustment range for the ball end, so it can be used for a wide range of vehicles. It also solves the problem of “the installation position is low and the bottom amount cannot be secured” that occurred with some chassis.
The shortening of the overall length has been achieved by reviewing the screw-in part of the cap and cylinder case, and does not affect the spring preload position. Therefore, it can be used with the same spring and adjuster position as before.
Shock tops, retainers, and shock ends are not included. The shock top is compatible with the D1-S6M included in the RDX kit, the OD1171-3 included in the GALM kit, Tamiya OP-1871 TRF damper reinforced V parts for 5mm, and WRAP-UP 0728-FD full length adjustable shock top.
